BREAKING: Two stretches of M62 fully shut after lorry fire and serious crash
are fully shut off this morning after a lorry fire and a serious crash involving two HGVs.
The eastbound carriageway is fully closed off between junction seven for Rainhill and junction eight for Warrington West.. 'Complex recovery work' is ongoing and emergency crews have been on the scene overnight. A diversion route has been put in place. A stretch of the eastbound carriageway is also shut off this morning at junction 10 for the Croft Interchange.This is due to a 'serious collision' involving two lorries and a vehicle fire, according to National Highways and traffic alert service Inrix.
