UCD have been relegated to the First Division and captain Jack Keaney appears to be moving on next year
The Donegal man has been College skipper for the last four years while studying Science but now that he has graduated, a move into full-time football beckons.
Ahead of tonight’s clash with Derry City, Keaney said: “I'm just going to see out the season and see what comes for next year, if there’s anything out there. "I think teaching is going on the back foot for a while. I'm going to try to go full-time, but I don't know where that will be. I’ll see when the season is over.”
“It was three, nearly four times a week these last two years so I'm well used to the training set-up. "It's been a tough last month and has probably gone a bit sour with the results,” he said. “But Friday was a great performance, especially defensively.
