A Nasa panel investigating unidentified flying objects has collected around 800 mysterious reports - but only a small fraction are truly unexplained, researchers say.

But he said the number of those sightings which are "possibly really anomalous" are 2% to 5% of the total database. "They had really strange structure. People couldn't figure out what was going on. Then they start to notice a lot of them bunched together around lunch time," he said.
