🔴 Breaking: Ukraine interior minister among 16 killed in helicopter crash near Kyiv nursery
Emergency personnel work at the site of a helicopter crash, amid Russia’s attack on Ukraine, in the town of Brovary, outside Kyiv Ukraine’s interior minister and other senior ministry officials were among 16 killed in a helicopter crash near a nursery in a suburb of Kyiv on Wednesday, the national police chief said.
Minister of Internal Affairs Denys Monastyrskyi, First Deputy Minister Yevgeny Yenin and State Secretary Yuriy Lubkovich died in the crash near a kindergarten in the town of Brovary, an eastern suburb of the country’s capital, police chief Ihor Klymenko said.The head of the Kyiv regional military administration Oleksiy Kuleb said children and employees were at the kindergarten when the crash happened. The site has been evacuated and emergency services are at the scene, Ukrainian media reports.
