The other man on the line seems surprised at the soldier's assertion that Russian forces had destroyed the dam - as they've been occupying it since the start of the invasion. He explained that before the attack on the Kakhovka dam, it and the wider Dnipro River was one of the key frontlines of the conflict.
"The problem is although we would have known roughly where they were when the flood started, what we don't know is where they're going to end up," Mr Duncan said.
