A Russian man has been detained for allegedly 'planning a terrorist attack on the Trans-Siberian Railway' in the Ural Mountains, according to state news agency TASS. Election voting has entered its second day, with President Putin almost guaranteed victory.
Russia has accused Ukraine of dropping a shell from a drone onto a polling station in the Russian-controlled region of Zaporizhzhia.In addition, the Russian foreign ministry has accused Kyiv of increasing 'terrorist activities' during the Russian presidential election to attract more aid and weapons from the West.
There was no mention of any casualties in the alleged incident in Zaporizhzhia, which Sky News cannot verify.As we have been reporting, there has been disruption at polling stations as Russians vote for a new president - an election that Vladimir Putin is almost certain to win.Yesterday, he vowed to punish Ukraine for what he said were its efforts to disrupt the electoral process.
