The Antrim players say they won't face All-Ireland champions Armagh anywhere other than Corrigan Park
Ulster GAA have made it clear that Antrim footballers will NOT have home advantage for their glamour championship opener against All-Ireland champions Armagh.
“Home venues for senior inter-county championship games are subject to the approval of the relevant CCC , and they must be in compliance with health and safety standards," read the statement. “Ulster GAA met with Antrim GAA officials last month to review the situation in detail, and those discussions remain ongoing.”
“As everyone knows, we're drawn out at home to play an Ulster Championship game and we're being told as usual that we're going somewhere else," McBride told BBC Sport NI. McBride continued: We spoke as players already. We said we sacrifice too much to lie down. If it's not going to be where it's meant to be, then we'll not play it.
"The draw was made on October 12. All season tickets weren't sold before October 12. So everybody knew that we had home advantage. I don't see a problem."
