This week’s UN General Assembly marks the first time both the Taoiseach and Tánaiste will miss the start of a new session in the Dáil.
“You presume Paschal Donohoe or somebody is going to take the Leaders’ Questions,” he said. “And it’s taking a bit of a sting off the Sinn Féin launch in the first week of the Dáil.
Seán said “one of the biggest ministerial delegations” he’s ever known will be at the assembly this week. “The past few years have been curtailed by COVID-19; this is the first one since 2019 where there are no restrictions on what can actually be done.” “Stephen Donnelly will be attending an event on future pandemic preparedness and global access to universal healthcare,” Seán explained.
