Specialist officers from Nottinghamshire are helping to search the lake
Tributes have been left near Babbs Mill Park, in Kingshurst, where the boys fell into a lakeFamilies of three young boys who died after being pulled from an icy lake are suffering unimaginable pain, a family member has said.
Messages of love and support have been left for the boys and their families along with flowers and soft toys.Image source,John Eustace, head coach at Birmingham City FC, was among those to lay flowers at the lakeside. The community here knows all the boys who have died but out of respect for the families they are waiting for their names to be formally confirmed by police.
The force is being guided by the families as to how much information is made available to the media, Supt Richard Harris said, adding it was doing "everything we possibly can to support them".Dozens of tributes, including soft toys and flowers, have been left for the "Babbs Mill Boys" The feeling on Tuesday is one of sheer disbelief that three children have lost their lives after going out to play.
