Trade union Unite has welcomed an 'excellent' pay deal for ground staff at Glasgow Airport.
The offer has been accepted by over 200 Menzies Aviation employees, including dispatchers, allocators, airside agents and controllers, based at the Paisley terminal.It follows an increase on last year's deal with Menzies, which had increased basic pay by up to 9.1%.
"This further demonstrates this union's determined work to improve wages and conditions across Scotland's airports." Pat McIlvogue, industrial officer at Unite, added:"Unite is delighted to have secured a fantastic deal for our members.
