FAIRBANKS, Alaska - On Saturday, March 19, the University of Alaska Fairbanks is putting on a choir concert with the University of Alaska Anchorage .
Guests from UAA have come up to Fairbanks to sing alongside UAF’s voice majors. “We flew in this afternoon. It’s sunny and warm in Fairbanks, which is amazing,” said UAA Baritone Warren Weinstein. Titled “Unity, Diversity and Harmony: A Performance of Music Theater Excerpts”, the concert emphasizes themes of inclusion. “That’s kind of our message for the audience, is diversity and coming together,” Andriesen said.
