Dog owners should be 'extra vigilant'
Police have issued a warning to dog owners after two dogs reportedly died following walks on a local park in Trafford.
This was not noticed until the dogs became ill after their walks. Police said Trafford Council is aware and officials will be visiting the park., though there is not believed to be any wider risk to the public at this stage. A post on the GMP Trafford South Facebook page yesterday said: "We have received reports that 2 dogs have sadly died over the last few weeks after being walked on Woodstock Park, Broadheath, Altrincham.
