The Spanish Meteorology Agency AEMET has issued a number of weather warnings for rain, storms and wind impacting several holiday hotspots that are popular with Irish tourists
Irish holidaymakers heading to Spain over the coming days could be impacted by wet and windy weather.
Other areas currently impacted by Status Yellow rain warnings include Murcia, Barcelona, Girona, Tarragona, Cambrils, Reus, Madrid and Palma. The national forecaster says explained that high pressure will continue to dominate Ireland’s weather for the rest of this week - and the current signal is for this to continue through next week too. This means lots of settled weather for many, with warm, dry and sunny conditions.
“Cloudy at times on Saturday with the odd shower possible. Mostly dry overall though, with occasional sunny breaks too. Light to moderate northwest breezes. Highs between 16C to 21C or 22C, warmest in the south and southeast with the best of sunshine likely here.
