The cupboards are bare: Food banks warn of dwindling supplies in grip of 'perfect storm' of soaring demand
Vital food supplies are running low at Lancashire food banks in the ‘perfect storm’ as people tighten their belts amid soaring costs.

He said: “I was conscious that people wouldn't normally bring things like that out with them, so I needed to give them a reason to donate, hence we run a monthly draw for a voucher, for which a donation is the price. Everyone who donates is entered for a raffle to win a voucher to dine with us.
