Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez was again on the scoresheet for Uruguay at Copa America
Darwin Nunez continued his impressive run of form at international level after scoring for the seventh game in succession for Uruguay.
Nunez was also on on the scoresheet in Uruguay's group stage opener against Panama and will have the chance to again add to his tally if selected to feature against USA on Tuesday. Handing out a player rating of eight to Nunez, El Observador commented: "Another that performed tremendously. He converted in his seventh consecutive game and even missed some more situations."
La Diaria said: "Always a goalscorer. He is famous for putting it in. He missed one in the first minute, in the second he barely missed, the third was pin and green, to collect. If he doesn't make them he creates them, and if he doesn't make them or create them, he runs after all the defenders so they don't play in peace."
