It’s amazing how little noise has been heard about GOLDEN ACE in this Grade 1 contest.They way she kicked aside Brightersdaysahead – talked up as one of Ireland’s bankers of the Festival – was hugely impressive. I’m convinced Jeremey Scott’s mare will develop into a genuine Champion Hurdle contender.
FRERO BANBOU seemed to enjoy them when third in the Grand Sefton on his return to action in November. He went on to run well in handicaps, including when third behind Hacker Des Places at Cheltenham’s January meeting.
