Vernon Kay left his Radio 2 colleague Scott Mills stunned with an unexpected revelation about his marriage to Tess Daly .
Vernon recounted to Scott: "It was Strictly Come Dancing's Tess Daly and I, recreated the video for Britney Spears' 'Hit Me Baby One More Time'. That's how we first met." In 2021, OK! magazine revealed that Vernon Kay and Tess Daly first crossed paths in 2001. At the time, they were both budding TV presenters, with Vernon at the helm of Channel 4's T4 and Tess fronting SMTV on ITV.
