Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff has made it clear Max Verstappen is the man he would love to bring in to replace Lewis Hamilton, amid Red Bull's internal power struggle
Max Verstappen reportedly "appreciates" Toto Wolff 's bullish public advances, despite committing his long-term future to Red Bull.
Wolff has tried to take advantage of the situation by making a public play for the 26-year-old. Mirror Sport exclusively reported quotes from the Austrian as he made his desire known. The Mercedes chief said: "A few months ago I didn't expect that opportunity to be there at all... As Lewis' replacement, there is only a small group of drivers who are interesting for us.
