Annie Heyneman, who was aged in her 50s, died after she was attacked at her home near Ballyconnell on Saturday evening
Sources have confirmed to the Irish Mirror that Mrs Heyneman, who was in her 50s, died after being attacked at her home at Kilnavert outside Ballyconnell on Saturday evening.
Local Fianna Fail Councillor John Paul Feeley told the Irish Mirror the community was in shock over the murder. And a local told the Irish Mirror that the Heyneman family was well known and well regarded in the Kilnavert area of Ballyconnell. He said: “It is a terrible tragedy. Nobody can believe what has happened. They are a very well-known family in the area.”
“Anyone who travelled in the area of Kilnavert, Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan, last night, Saturday 11th January 2025, between 8.30pm and 9.30pm, is asked to provide Gardaí with any available camera footage, including dashcam recordings.
