It’s hard to remember a time before David and Victoria Beckham, with Posh and Becks set to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary next month, but the footballer wasn’t her first fiancé
Victoria and David Beckham will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary next month, after the couple tied the knot on 4 July 1999.
Victoria’s first engagement was to Mark Wood. The pair used to live with her mother and father at their family home in Goff's Oak, Hertfordshire. He popped the big question in 1994, when she was around 20 years old. It was that same year that Victoria auditioned to be part of a girl group that was later named Spice Girls and was skyrocketed into stardom.
She continued: “But I didn't give him the ring back either! I've still got it because it was a wicked ring. Isn't that horrible? It makes me sound really materialistic."
