A video has emerged that shows aggressive scenes between a man and a woman during a night in Galway city.

A Garda spokesman told Galway Beo: "Gardai are investigating an assault that occurred on Williamsgate Street, Galway at approximately 2:20am on Thursday, February 2, 2023. There were no serious injuries reported. Enquiries are ongoing." The footage shows what appears to be one man on the ground who is surrounded by a group of people at the taxi rank who are attempting to kick him.
