The person who shared the video said it happened shortly after 1:30 a.m. Monday near the intersection of Post and Hamilton streets. What prompted the act is unclear.
In the video, two muzzle flashes from the handgun that is fired by the driver are visible. The gun appears to be fired in the direction of a home on the corner.
At first glance, it appears the home might have been hit, but dust can also be seen flying up from the ground, suggesting a mound of dirt and bushes in the front yard might have been struck.“I came out and looked at the fence. There are no holes in the fence or the house next door,” the man said. “He kind of shot behind my house and the neighbor’s house. All I can think now after looking at the video a few times is that he shot into the ground. It’s kind of high over here.
