BREAKING: Horrifying video shows van 'driving at people in the street' as police make attempted murder arrest
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a van was allegedly driven into a group of people in the early hours of this morning.
Photographs taken from the scene show shards of glass in the road and a bin tipped on its side, while a video circulating on social media appears to show a black van swerving towards pedestrians. Detective Inspector Stuart Woodhead, of GMPs Bolton CID, added: “Thankfully no one was seriously hurt during this incident but the outcome could have been very different, hence why we have arrested the suspect on suspicion of attempted murder.
