RTE viewers praised Brian Dowling and Arthur Gourounlian for sharing their emotional surrogacy journey as part of a new documentary.
They discussed the highs and lows of starting their family, including the legislation issues they had to face along the way - including the fact that Brian's sister Aoife, who was their surrogate, is named as mother on Blake's birth certificate even though they used an egg donor. The documentary also shared the emotional moment baby Blake was born, as well as an update on the adorable tot six months later.One person tweeted: "Aoife’s relationship with Brian & Arthur is gorgeous. They both adore their baby. Hopefully it shows how necessary it is to update our laws. I cried & smiled through this fabulous documentary. Well done".
