A vigil has taken place in Lurgan, Co Armagh at the spot where a pregnant woman was murdered earlier this week
Several hundred family members, friends and neighbours gathered at Silverwood Green where Natalie McNally was found stabbed to death in her home on Monday evening.A two-minute silence was observed before Ms McNally's brother addressed the gathering."On behalf of my family I just want to thank everybody in the estate, Lurgan and the wider community for all the comfort and support you have offered us," he said.
Detectives believe 32-year-old Natalie, who was 15 weeks pregnant, had been killed on Sunday evening, 24 hours before her body was discovered. They have released CCTV footage of a prime suspect seen approaching her home just before 9pm that night and leaving the area just over half an hour later.A £20,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the capture and conviction of the marketing executive's killer.
The crowd heard a neighbour read out a short statement on behalf of others in the street condemning Ms McNally's"heinous" murder.
