The Birmingham chapter of Democratic Socialists of America held the vigil in front of the Birmingham office of Brasfield & Gorrie, which is the primary contractor building the training center on an 85-acre wooded site in Dekalb County, Georgia.Manuel Esteban Paez Terán, 26, was shot and killed on the morning of Jan. 18, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
When Terán shot and injured a state trooper, other law enforcement officers returned fire and killed Teran, the GBI has said., the chairman of Brasfield & Gorrie. The house, two vehicles and some sculptures on the property were targeted.
