A paedophile from Blackpool who 'ruined' a young girl's life died while in custody after being found 'mumbling and drowsy' in his prison cell.
READ MORE:Blackburn paedophile who raped teen boy died from lung cancer in prison after being refused early release Benton was returned to HMP Wymott on November 8 but two days later was taken back to A&E and given fluids after doctors noted he was dehydrated. After being returned to HMP Wymott on November 11 Benton was found to be 'drowsy and mumbling his words' and he was admitted to hospital with a chest infection after falling and hitting his head.
