He ran a pensioner over with his car

A pensioner was left with life-changing injuries after he was ran over in a Tesco car park by a violent thief.

He suffered a number of other injuries including a hip fracture, abrasions to his thumb, knee and forearm." The man was discharged from hospital but has since been in a rehabilitation centre. Ms Smart said: "He hopes he will be able to walk again and he hopes he will be able to drive again but that is a long way off and there is no guarantee.
