Kerry and Galway went head to head on Sunday in the All-Ireland Senior Ladies Football final, which ended in a nail-biting last ten minutes, with Galway triumphing by 2-07 to 0-12 over Kerry.player Eva Noone would end up securing the win, with her match-winning point one for the history books, as this was the county's first win since 2004. It was sport that initially united Ger and Bernard, as both were working in television and broadcasting when romance blossomed.
