Preston is an amazing city, with lots to offer. Take part in our poll to tell us what's the best place to live in Preston
Though it might be just a temporary home to the many students who flock here to study, many more choose to make this their permanent home or have lived here for generations. The city's face has changed quite dramatically in some areas in the last decade, but at the heart of it, remains its amazing community.
Being given the Golden City status back in 2002 was a big deal for Preston - something people felt was long overdue. Visibly, the city centre and its buildings have undergone some quite dramatic changes. And more projects and plans to further develop the city are also underway. But here and now, we want to know what is the best place to live in Preston.
Take part in our poll and vote for your favourite area. We have included a couple of places, that although not technically in Preston, people perceive to be part of the big Preston bubble, such as Penwortham and Bamber Bridge. But if we have missed a key place, there is a box for you to fill in with your favourite Preston area. If you can't see the poll, click here.
