P.J. Hatter, Sr., Westfield: Hatter completed 15-of-20 passes for 443 yards and seven touchdowns during a 61-22 victory over Spring on Friday. He also rushed for 55 yards and a score.
Santana Scott, Sr., Morton Ranch: Scott rushed for 215 yards and three touchdowns on 27 carries during a 77-63 victory over Cinco Ranch on Thursday. He also had four catches for 86 yards and three more scores. Peyton Miller, Jr., Clear Springs: Miller had two interceptions and forced two fumbles during a 38-35 victory over Dickinson on Friday.
Jordan Edmondson, Sr., Westside: Edmondson took first place at the Kempner Cougar Classic on Saturday, winning the 5,000-meter race with a time of 15 minutes, 42.20 seconds. Christopher Hobbs, Sr., Second Baptist: Hobbs took first place at the Second Baptist Soaring Eagles Meet on Saturday, winning the 5,000-meter race with a time of 17 minutes, 21.80 seconds.
