Why don’t we send nuclear waste to space? ☢️
In today's world, there's a lot of talk about nuclear energy. With so much information going around, it can be impossible to discern what's true and what's not. However, regardless of whether you are for or against nuclear power, the radioactive waste is already here, and in fact, we've been dealing with it for years.
In this video, YouTuber Kyle Hill, who is an award-winning science educator, explains how people have an incorrect understanding of nuclear waste. The concept of nuclear waste as"yellow barrels of bubbling glowing green go just ready to be toxic and transformative and spill into some nearby river and make giant insects" is completely wrong, he says.
