The warden of Alabama’s largest state prison is on 'mandatory leave' amid reports of sexual misconduct.
The Alabama Department of Corrections said today that the warden of its largest penitentiary is on mandatory leave.
Deborah Toney is warden of Limestone Correctional Facility in Harvest, which houses about 2,370 male inmates, according to the website. “As this is an internal personnel matter, we do not have further comment,” Kristi Simpson, interim departmental spokesperson for the ADOC said.that Toney is accused of sexual misconduct for conducting pat-down searches on female contract employees coming into the prison.
