The last budget saw social welfare recipients get a double payment in January as a cost of living bonus and it is looking likely that this is on the cards again for the upcoming budget
Budget 2025 will be announced in October and the government have already hinted at the measures we can expect.
This measure was also announced in last year's budget, with the double week being paid in January of this year.
