Warning for parents as Hepatitis cases continue to rise in children

And it's mainly affecting under fives

There have now been 197 confirmed cases in the UK so far – with the majority of those affected under five.

In their latest briefing on the sudden rise of cases of hepatitis in children, the UK Health Security Agency has said that a further 34 kids have been diagnosed with the illness, bringing the official number of UK cases to 197. Dr Renu Bindra, a Senior Medical Advisor at UKHSA, said that the reason for the rise in cases was still unknown and that health officials were continuing to keep an open mind.
