The government has warned that no one will receive a back payment due to the update coming into effect on May 1
Minister for Social Protection Heather Humphreys has clarified a major detail about Child Benefit changes due to come into effect next week.
The parent or guardian does not need to reapply if the child is in full-time education and the Department holds a current education certificate.
