A passenger has taken ill on a train near Glasgow
Around 1pm on Sunday afternoon, a passenger became ill on a train at Shotts.
Scotrail advised commuters that train services between Glasgow Central and Edinburgh via Shotts were impacted by the incident, with delays of up to 20 minutes expected. A spokesperson for Scotrail said:"Because of a passenger taking ill on a train earlier today at Shotts disruption is expected to last until around 14:00 today .
"Train services between Glasgow Central and Edinburgh via Shotts will be delayed by up to 20 minutes. "We had reports of a passenger taken ill on a service at Shotts, paramedics have attended and taken passenger into their care."NEW: Due to a passenger taking unwell on a train at Shotts, services between Glasgow Central and Edinburgh via Shotts may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
