The resident went on to say: "Not sure about being advised to stay indoors and being told debris may fall on our property and surrounding area."
Reacting to the letter, one commenter wrote: "People should do what they choose to on the night and not be steered by commercial operations spending huge amounts on a ticketed events making huge profits." However, another hit back: "Seems quite straight forward...Although I can understand them being annoyed about the nuisance and inconvenience."
Edgbaston Community Director Fidelis Navas said: "We work closely with our near neighbours and host a Community Liaison Group meeting several times a year. It’s really important we listen to their views and do whatever we can to help. "We regularly issue letters and other communications to local residents as a courtesy ahead of major events to keep them informed.
