Golden State Warriors vs. Dallas Mavericks: Klay Thompson, Moses Moody available in Dallas

DALLAS — Golden State could use all the players they can keep healthy having lost six of their last eight games and the Memphis Grizzlies hot on their heels for the second seed.

Anchored by 6-foot-7 point guard Luka Doncic, the Mavericks’ slow style of play poses a challenge to the Warriors’ fast pace. Having Thompson’s scoring next to Steph Curry, shooting off the bench from Lee and scrappy defense and shooting from Moody can help keep the pace on the defensive and offense in transition.

Thompson flew out to Dallas from the Bay Area on Wednesday after missing Golden State’s two losses against the Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves with an illness. Thompson said he had a “raging headache” after their win against the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday has recovered fully from a week-long non-COVID illness.
