The chair of the WASPI campaign will give oral evidence to the Work and Pensions Committee on Tuesday.
Two prominent figures from the Women Against State Pension Inequality Campaign will give oral evidence to the Work and Pensions Committee next week on the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman’s final report into changes to the State Pension age.
After a six-year investigation, the PHSO published its final report on March 21 which said that the Department for Work and Pensions failed to adequately communicate changes to women’s State Pension age, and those affected are owed compensation. Top Money Stories Today Earlier this week, MSPs backed the Scottish Government’s call for “compensation in full” to be paid to women impacted by changes to their State Pension age - estimated by WASPI to be around 3.8 million.
