Mayor Marty Small paraded into the darkened ballroom in a flashing gold-and-white Transformers getup with the phrase “DO AC” across the front.

Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small made sure Thursday’s state of the city address was a memorable one as he strutted into a ballroom at Caesars Atlantic City Hotel and Casino wearing a light-up Transformers costume emblazoned with the phrase “DO AC.”

“Wow, talk about taking one for the team,” Small said after he had removed the outfit, which he wore over his suit, and stepped to the podium to deliver his speech.
