Hozier shocked commuters in New York City with a surprise performance at an underground subway station.
The Take Me To Church star released his second album Wasteland, Baby! last Friday as the follow-up to his enormously successful eponymous debut album. And the 28-year-old performed Almost , a new track from his latest studio offering, for the lucky crowd of onlookers at the busy station. In a video shared on his Instagram page, he said: "Dropped in on some New Yorkers’ commute home tonight for a quick subway session."
Instagram Fans back home in Ireland will soon get a taste of the Bray native after the singer-songwriter confirmed a gig at the Irish Independent Park in Cork for June 2019.He also embarked on a sold-out tour of Ireland and the UK last year on the back of his Nina Cried Power EP, which was his first release since his 2014 debut album.Our Irish Mirror Sports Page - which brings you all your Irish and UK sports news - can be found here.
