Black ice is difficult to see and could make central Pennsylvania roads slippery Tuesday morning.
Patches of black ice or freezing fog could develop on untreated roads early Tuesday, forecasters said. According to the NWS, these icy conditions are most likely in Dauphin, Schuylkill, Lebanon, York and Lancaster counties.
Forecasters said drivers should make sure to slow down and allow extra time to reach their destination. “Black ice is difficult to see and can make roads very slippery, especially bridges and overpasses,” forecasters said. Forecasters said this week will be sunny and much warmer than the midstate has experienced lately.
