Who's ready for the Rose Bowl?!
The last time this team was on the field, it got pushed around at the line of scrimmage by Michigan. That lack of push was also why Ohio State lost to a Pac-12 team in Week 2 when Oregon came to Columbus. This season, the Utes dominated the Ducks in two meetings, doing so with an approach similar to what the Wolverines used to make their first College Football Playoff appearance.
The team’s toughness has spent the last month in question. Those questions won’t go away just because OSU wins a bowl game. But this is a chance to give fans a reason for optimism that brighter days are ahead. When the Buckeyes was in Pasadena following the 2018 season, it provided a chance to press the reset button as Day took over the program from Urban Meyer. Three years later, they’re back. Only this time, it won’t come with new leadership.
“We’ve got one moment,” tight end Mitch Rossi says in the trailer. “One moment to change the narrative on what this season is for the 2021 Buckeyes. Everyone here has got their name on this season.” Watch the full trailer above as you get ready to watch Ohio State face the Utes in Saturday’s Rose Bowl.
