An investigation into the incident has been launched
A watchdog has been ordered to investigate a Glasgow police officer after he was filmed throwing a teenage boy to the ground causing his head to smack off the floor.
The boy's father , who was ‘sickened to the core’ after seeing the mobile phone footage, has welcomed the investigation but said his son is still feeling the impact. “We’re starting to notice the mental side effects of this though. He’s sort of withdrawn and gone into himself. He’s not going out with his pals or seeing his wee girlfriend so we’re just trying to coax him to try get him back to normal.
