The court heard Gomes has 'matured' and is at low risk of offending

A judge told the court "water has passed under the bridge" before sentencing a 22-year-old. Edi Gomes, was brought before Nottingham Crown Court on Thursday, July 13, for sentencing.

Gomes, of Springhead Court, had a "lesser" involvement in a case involving a group of defendants, the court heard. The judge said: "You were then 17, you are now 22."Since then you served a significant custody sentence." The court heard Gomes has "matured" and is at low risk of offending.Gomes was given 20 percent credit for his guilty plea. He was served 20 months imprisonment suspended for 21 months.

He has also been given a six months sentence for the possession of a bladed article which is to be served concurrently. "You can go now", said the judge before Gomes left the dock.
