'Imagine telling your children you met on an aqua trampoline', organisers said
North Yorkshire Water Park is turning the phrase "sliding into your DM's" into reality with a new dating event.
Taking dating offline, there will be a singles session on the AquaPark followed by a free fizz mixer in the café. So instead of sliding into the DMs, people will be sliding into the water instead to try and find the perfect match."Imagine telling your children you met on the aqua trampoline", a spokesperson for North Yorkshire Aqua Park said.
One lucky couple will be invited back to the water park for an official first date, where they can enjoy other, activities and build a deeper connection as they race down the Zipline and test their hands at Stand Up Paddleboarding. "Is there a better way to find like-minded and adventurous people than literally diving in headfirst and joining a session like this? We wanted to show everyone that dating doesn’t just have to consist of swiping left or right and there’s still a place for meeting that perfect person face to face.
