Former Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is currently in charge of Championship side Plymouth Argyle
Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney has been handed a one-match touchline ban and fined £5,500 for misconduct following his red card in Plymouth Argyle's dramatic win over Blackburn Rovers.
Rooney accepted the charge and will be in the stands for Argyle's trip to Championship strugglers, Cardiff City on Saturday . It was further alleged that following his dismissal his conduct was improper and/or violent. It was also alleged that by returning to the field of play after being dismissed his behaviour was improper.
