So, as new leaders, we are both putting the relationship between our two countries on a new path.
If you want to know whether Sinn Féin’s housing policy will work, look at what it achieved in the NorthSo as prime minister and Taoiseach, we are determined to do everything we can to support the First and Deputy First Ministers and the Executive in their efforts to address the challenges facing Northern Ireland and to realise the tremendous opportunities that exist.
Our economies benefit too. Ireland is one of Britain’s top 10 trading partners, while Britain is one of Ireland’s top five export markets. The trading relationship is worth €120 billion a year, creating thousands of jobs – and helping to deliver on a mission that is at the heart of both our governments’ agendas: prosperity.
