The glossip, glamour and gall that the Bridgerton series brings is returning to our screens this month with Season Three and we can’t wait…Inventing Anna , has taken the reigns for this season with g
usto and is bringing her new energy and excitement to the show. She has also revealed a not-so-subtle hint in the last episode of this season as to who next season’s leading pair will be. Benedict Bridgerton , or Eloise Bridgerton , seem likely – time will reveal all.
The series begins when Penelope has finally given up on her long-held crush on Colin Bridgerton after hearing his disparaging words about her last season. She has, however, decided she wants to take a husband, preferably one who will provide her with enough independence to continue her double life as Lady Whistledown and far away from her mother and sisters. Lacking in confidence, Penelope’s attempts at finding a marriage fail.
Colin offers to mentor Penelope in the ways of confidence to try and help her find a husband this season. But, as these things usually go, as they continue with their lessons, Colin becomes confused as to whether his growing feelings for Penelope are truly platonic. The romance between the two has been brewing since Season 1 and #Polin is the new term dubbed by fans – we are all quite ready for this romance to blossom.
Complicating matters for Penelope is her rift with Eloise , who has found a new friend in a very unlikely place, while Penelope’s growing presence in the Ton makes it all the more difficult to keep her Lady Whistledown alter ego a secret.
